Steve Sawin, MD, FACOG
Dr. Steve Sawin was one of those we all envied. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Bates College, then not surprisingly, Alpha Omega Alpha from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He began publishing and received national awards as a resident, then REI fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. But Steve doesn't act like a brainy; he's a normal guy. Steve went into private practice, but did not give up his love of teaching. Maybe it's because he's in the real world, but he can present complex REI issues in an easy and understandable way. Dr. Sawin's enthusiasm for REI is infectious and you hate to admit it, but you even had fun reviewing REI again.
