Dr. Sean McCarty's academic journey commenced with a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. His pursuit of medical knowledge led him to earn his medical degree in osteopathic medicine at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Returning to the sunshine state, Dr. McCarty completed his residency training at the University of Central Florida – College of Medicine. Following the conclusion of his residency, he embarked on a career in private practice in Orlando, Florida.
Dr. McCarty's professional focus centers on addressing a range of gynecological issues, with specialization in pelvic pain, endometriosis, and abnormal uterine bleeding. He is committed to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for his patients, placing a strong emphasis on patient education. By empowering his patients with knowledge, he encourages them to actively engage in their own healthcare.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. McCarty aspires to contribute to the field of medical education. He is eager to join the faculty at ABC, where he can support and guide others on their journey through the oral exam process, sharing his knowledge and experience to help aspiring medical professionals in their pursuit of excellence.
