Peer Review Network (PRN)
ABC embraces and encourages networking with your colleagues. No one knows better what you're going through than your peers. You have an opportunity to join a Peer Review Network. PRN is a voluntary list of other candidates sitting for your boards. You can network with all or just some in your PRN group, during and even beyond the course. The ABOG Oral Board PRN allows you to commiserate with others and review/exchange your case lists and give each other mock orals -- and they won't charge you one penny! The Written Board PRN group can form study groups and review/exchange written test questions. The AOBOG Clinical Board PRN group can form study groups to review and give mock orals on the core topics. ABC is with you every step. You can do it -- we can help.
"Dr. Das kept talking about this paradigm shift in reviewing our case lists. She convincingly transitioned us to look at it from the examiner's perspective, rather than our own. What I didn't expect though, was my own paradigm shift in how I view my colleagues. All through out college, medical school, and residency we've been in competition against each other. Dr. Das kept encouraging us to take advantage of the colleagues at the course. The evening session, Defending Your Case List, the Verizon Way, broke the ice and I realized we're all in the same boat. Four of us, total strangers, with the only thing in common was we all had November oral exams in two weeks, ended up burning the midnight oil after the lectures, grilling each other on our case lists. We had covered any/all angles possible. When I took my exam, there were no surprises. Thanks, guys. I couldn't have done it without you." | |
