Half of the ABOG oral boards and ALL of the AOBOG clinical boards are defending structured cases. These patient management scenarios require you to proceed down the algorithm management pathway. All candidates on the same day of your test receive the same cases in order to standardize an otherwise subjective test. ABC has nicknamed this process "Case of the Day."

In order to simulate your test, ABC provides a mock oral on structured cases during the course. Like your test, each day will have a different theme, and a minimum of one core topic. The ABC faculty examiners are either generalists or the corresponding sub-specialist. You can sign up for just one session to cover your weakest area or attend daily sessions to cover all topics.
