Dr. Acocella completed her Bachelor of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.  She completed her medical school degree at the University of Connecticut and went on to New York Medical College for her residency in obstetrics and gynecology. 
Dr. Christina Acocella has always been passionate for her career as an OB-Gyn. Throughout medical school, she experienced a variety of different practices, but always knew that being an OB-Gyn would be the area she wanted to pursue. “I fell in love with all the aspects of OB-Gyn care,” she explains. “I loved that you get to follow a woman from when she’s 14 or 15 and first seeing an OB-Gyn, through the birth of her children and later into menopause.”
In her spare time, Dr. Acocella enjoys weight lifting, cooking, baking, hiking and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
