Faculty - Kristi Wood, DO, FACOG
Dr. Kristi Wood received her Bachelor of Science in biology from West Virginia University. In 2010, she graduated from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg. She then completed her residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. Since 2014, Dr. Wood has held the position of Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine in Bethesda. Dr. Wood has received numerous honors and recognitions, including the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and Navy Joint Commendation Medal. She loves the continuity of care that our field provides and enjoys sharing this with future physicians. Dr. Wood is a strong advocate for “pay it forward” and is passionate about assisting other OB/GYNs as they prepare for their certifying board exam.
