Testimonials
Do Or Die in Dallas was perfect - it is helpful to shake off the nerves and pump yourself up!
"Dr. Homan, I just wanted to personally thank you again so much for all the help that you've given me during this journey through Oral Boards. I'm happy to let you know I passed!! Thank you so much for all the ways you helped me through this struggle---- you really gave me confidence to handle it all. It was such a pleasure working with you and learning from you. I hope our paths cross again soon (but thankfully not at a board review/prep course!)" HA
“I did quite a few over the phone but it's much different in person.” EC
"I am very grateful to you for your excellent last-minute tips especially on how to increase my confidence during the "Do or Die in Dallas" session last week. I watched the Cuddy video and really identified with a lot of what she was saying. I did my "power stance" many times after that and I passed my exam! I appreciate you working on the fly and focusing on the areas I felt least confident in.” SH NOV15
"I was worried the D3 session would freak me out. I know now it could only have been divine intervention that I ran into Dr. Das at the Dallas airport. I jokingly shared my concerns and she reassuringly said, “Michelle just do what makes sense for you”. She gave me her phone # and the more I thought about it, the more I freaked and decided what the heck, I can’t get any more freaked out. So I did one hour with her. During the exam, I was never calmer in my entire life. Again, it could only have been divine intervention.” MC
“This was my last chance to pass the oral exam before having to start the 6 year cycle over again. Obviously I hadn’t done so well in the past. The session in Dallas was truly do or die for me. Even thought I was about ready to give up, Dr. Peeper refused to. He kept saying, ‘You can do this. Let’s go over it again…and again.’ Well, I PASSED! I can’t thank him enough. I have no doubt that session made all the difference.” - ST
"I came to ABC for the first time in Dallas. Dr. Das said she usually knows her ABC clients well and didn’t like surprises. Well no one was more surprised than me with her probing questions. She confessed she was trying to hold back as she didn’t want to shake my confidence, but it was clear I had way underestimated this exam. I had even paid another company to review my case list and she just shot right through their paper thin barriers. Thankfully she squeezed more time out of her jam packed schedule and what a night and day difference in my preparation. I nailed the exam as she had predicted almost every question I was asked. On the shuttle ride back to the Melrose, there were a lot of unhappy people. I just kept my mouth shut and tried to hide my smile. When I got off the shuttle, I broke into a run and jumped up and clicked my heels!”
"I did not have the time to prepare for my oral exam adequately … OK, I didn't make the time. Fortunately I arrived two days early, because it was apparent after my one hour scheduled session, that I needed some major help and fast. Dr. Das and I worked until late in the night and the next day. Talk about crash course, but it truly saved me from crashing and burning on the exam. I was amazed at her versatility to bring me up to speed on the high yield topics regardless of the subject. I am appreciative of her one-on-one customized tutoring, and especially her encouragement and confidence in me." -- ZR
